Stronger Neighborhoods

St. Jude

Located in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is one of the world's premier pediatric cancer research centers. Its mission is to find cures for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Patient families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food. Domino’s, with the support of its franchisees, named St. Jude its national charity partner in 2004. Domino’s and its franchisees are proud to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital annually in all U.S. stores during the Thanks and Giving fundraising campaign.

In 2012, Domino’s committed to raising $10 million in three years for the Assessment & Triage Center Delivered by Domino’s at St. Jude. In 2015, Domino’s began an eight-year, $35 million commitment. In recognition of that commitment, the Domino’s Event Center opened on the St. Jude campus. Domino’s finished that commitment early, during the 2019 Thanks and Giving campaign.

In 2020, Domino’s announced a commitment to raise $100 million over ten years for a new housing facility to be named Domino’s Village. The new housing facility will provide a space for community, comfort and care for St. Jude patients and their families. The facility will have 90 apartment units to accommodate different size families and length of stays. Construction is expected to begin in 2021.

St. Jude and its lifesaving mission has become an integral part of the Domino’s culture. Franchise and corporate team members participate in fundraising events outside of the Thanks and Giving window, including the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer and St. Jude PLAY LIVE, a video game streaming event.

Farming

Domino’s loves farmers – without farmers, there would be no pizza. We need wheat farmers, dairy farmers, tomato farmers and many more beyond that. We are proud to support farmers and the agricultural industry by giving directly to the National FFA Organization (FFA). FFA promotes agriculture education across the country through Future Farmers of America programs in schools. In 2017, Domino’s began a five-year, $1 million commitment to FFA to fund collegiate scholarships, as well as grants for supervised agriculture experiences for high school students, agriculture literacy and advocacy programs, and FFA’s Living to Serve platform that supports hunger and environmental initiatives in local communities and states. As a brand, we are proud to be able to stand behind the farming community and be a part of an organization that is strengthening the future of agriculture in the United States.

Disaster Relief

Domino’s stores across the country continue to deliver pizzas to people in times of unexpected need, as they have since our founding in 1960. We call it pizza relief. We put corporate dollars behind that effort to amplify the good work franchisees are doing. We are proud of our system for the dedication and ability to come together and provide needed support to the communities we serve in the wake of terrible disasters like hurricanes and flooding, fires and extreme cold, among other emergency situations. Feed the Need

In April of 2020, during the start of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Domino’s and its nationwide system of franchisees banded together to donate roughly 10 million slices of pizza within their local communities. Domino's partnered with its franchisees as part of this national effort, so that hospitals and medical centers, schoolchildren and their families, health departments, grocery store and postal workers, and others in need could enjoy a hot, delicious pizza. Stores, both corporate-owned and franchised, actively looked for who they could help in their local communities and took pride in how they were able to make a difference.

Local Giving

Domino’s is dedicated to delivering a difference to the communities in which we are proud to live and serve. Our corporate giving is primarily directed to organizations in the southeastern Michigan area, where we were founded and are headquartered, and in the cities our corporate-owned stores are located (Baltimore, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Norfolk, Va., Phoenix, and Salt Lake City).

In 2019, Domino’s donated approximately $550,000 in funds and more than 7,500 pizzas to more than 150 local nonprofit organizations, including Ozone House, Food Gatherers, Growing Hope, and Fair Food Network. We feel grateful for the opportunity to support many worthy organizations in their unique and important missions.

Domino’s is proud of its 750+ franchisees across the country who choose to support charitable initiatives in their own backyard by delivering pizzas and offering financial assistance through donations and ‘dough raisers.’ These independent small business owners know their neighborhoods best – and the organizations most meaningful to their teams and customers.
