National FFA Organization
National FFA Organization
Domino’s commitment to FFA consists of three key components: ag educators, workforce development and sustainable agriculture.
Agriculture Educators
Both current and future agriculture teachers are integral for FFA to achieve its vision – growing the next generation of leaders who will change the world. To support current teachers, Domino’s is funding teacher grants and teacher workshops. To respond to the need to foster a pipeline of future ag teachers, Domino’s is launching a collegiate scholarship program. Domino’s will award $10,000 scholarships to ten FFA students seeking a degree in agricultural education.
Workforce Development
Domino’s is focusing on workforce development amongst FFA students by allocating support to FFA’s Food Processing & Products pathway – a career pathway that allows students to study research & development, quality assurance, safety, and packaging within the food science industry through competitions, hands-on projects, e-learning, field trips and more.
Domino’s will also empower innovation and entrepreneurship within agriculture by continuing to fund need-based supervised agriculture experience (SAE) grants – an opportunity for students to complete their own independent work through hands-on projects. To date, Domino’s has funded 140 SAE grants.
Sustainable Agriculture
In 2022, Domino’s increased its monetary support of FFA to fund the development of sustainable agriculture curriculum. These lessons and educational resources are now available for teacher-led instruction in agricultural science classes and for independent e-learning for students. The materials cover water conservation, soil health, climate change and waste management. Under our expanded commitment, Domino’s is proud to continue supporting this curriculum.
From 2017-2021, Domino’s contributed $1 million to the organization, for collegiate scholarships, SAE grants, service projects and advocacy programs.
